February meeting – Why is Grass Green

Many of us would love to have a lawn as green and lush as the one above.  At our talk on the 2nd February Jenny Slaughter will tell us ‘Why Grass is Green’. I suspect we won’t be getting lawn care tips but more of a talk on the structure of grass but if you understand why a plant grows in a certain way then it helps you provide the best conditions for it.

The talk will start at 7:30pm with complimentary refreshments available from 7:00pm and is free to members and £4 per visitor.
