We have a fabulous evening lined up this month! Join us on Monday 7th March from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. We are happy to announce that we will be serving tea and coffee so come in time to enjoy a hot drink and buy your tickets for the plant raffle! You will also be able to renew your membership for £15 if you haven’t already done so. Visitors are always welcome, cost £5.
This will be an evening with a bit of a difference as it will be a practical demonstration on how to create a terrarium, a glass container housing plants. Ben will discuss amongst other things, the sort of plants that are suitable for this type of plant container as well as how to care for them. I have it on very good authority that this will be a really great talk so please come along to support Ben and of course, the Society.
Ben is a local lad based in Worcester. He has always had an interest in plants but it wasn’t until he took on a large vegetable plot back in 2015 that his interest in horticulture really got going. The Coronavirus lockdown focused Ben’s energy into creating online content such as videos of his creations. Instagram is Ben’s main social platform (search Worcester Terrariums) where he now has 251K followers worldwide! He also puts tutorials up on YouTube. Some of Ben’s terrariums are available to buy at The Jungle Club in Worcester. He takes commissions and holds group workshops or 1:1 tutorials.
