“A Passion for Pumpkins”

Our next meeting is on Monday 6th November 2023 and our speaker Russell Attwood will be talking about his Passion for Pumpkins: Planting, growing, carving; including some no-dig and a wee sing-song at the end.

As always the venue for the evening is Colwall Village Hall and complimentary refreshments will be available from 7:00 pm. The evening is free to members or £5 per visitor.

Russell’s background is in crop science. He taught biology for 39 years and enjoyed singing to his classes about pumpkins! He grows unusual fruit and veg on his no-dig allotment in Kettering and is known for his enthusiasm for growing lots of pumpkins and squashes.
