Gardener and plantsman, Steve will be talking to us about setting up the No Name Nursery near Sandwich in Kent and some of the plants involved in the journey.
Steve was the former Head Gardener at The Salutation in Kent for 17 years. He serves on the RHS Herbaceous Committee and won a Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.
The nursery was set up by Steve and his wife Louise Dowle out of a desire to share great garden plants with fellow garden lovers. It is set on a 3 acre site which is designed as a plant playground for growing and testing plants with the aim of sharing these plants for sale in a sustainable way. They hold 4 national collections of plants: {ersicaris virginiana cvs, dark leaved dahlias, pseudopanax cvs and plectranthus.
