Chris Groves is Head Gardener at Overbecks, a National Trust property in Devon. The garden can be found on the Salcombe Estuary, sheltered by woodlands and cliffs. As a result, it enjoys a mild microclimate thereby providing ideal growing conditions for many less hardy trees and shrubs. It sounds like it’s a gardener’s paradise with an amazing and unusual collection of plants as well as some fabulous views!
Chris will take us on a journey through the year of this wonderful garden. I’m sure this interesting talk will be illustrated with many fabulous photos, if his Instagram account is anything to go by!
