We hope to see as many of you as possible at the AGM which will start promptly at 7pm on Monday 1st December. The hall will be open from 6.30 pm with refreshments beforehand. We will be electing new members to the committee so please come along and give your support.
There will be a short break between the AGM and our evening talk, “Ancient Trees” given by Archie Miles, which will start at 7.30.
All AGM paperwork will be found on the WCHS website before the meeting. Click on “AGM DOCUMENTS” under the ‘More’ tab on the front page.
The documents comprise last year’s Minutes as well as the Agenda, Chairman’s Report, Treasurer’s Report and Accounts for 2024. To save on trees and printing costs, we will only have a few hard copies of the Agenda and Accounts for people to reference.

Archie Miles: “For 45 years I have travelled throughout the UK to photograph many of the country’s greatest and rarest trees as well as a huge diversity of woodlands, building up my library of tree photographs and writing about my abiding passion for landscape and trees in particular.
I frequently give illustrated tree-related lectures, ranging from small groups in village halls up to The British Museum, Kew Gardens and Hay Festival.
I am passionate about my traditional orchard with its fine old trees, with its cultural and botanical significance in an ever-changing landscape.”
