Monday 3rd August: Small Scale Homesteading with Stephanie Hafferty

Stephanie lives in Ceredigion, Wales, where she has started a new productive homestead on just under half an acre, creating an abundant, productive garden on a budget. She will telling us how a micro-homestead can be created wherever you live, as well as discussing gardening methods and ideas for what to do with your plentiful harvests, including natural products for the home, kitchen, body and garden – plastic free and fun.

Stephanie is an organic gardening and homesteading expert; she is an award winning garden and food writer, edible garden designer, public speaker and qualified educator. With many years of practical growing experience, she specialises in teaching people organic gardening and homesteading skills – how to grow your own food year round, affordably and using sustainable wildlife friendly methods.

The talk will start at 7.30pm in Colwall Village Hall. However, do come along from 7pm to enjoy a hot drink and a chat as well as the plant stall and raffle.
