We are very pleased to announce that our September speaker Gary Bristow, is giving his talk on “Gardening for the Soul” on Zoom on Monday 7th September. This is the talk published in this year’s programme

Gary will give us a look behind the scenes at the creation of the Macmillan Legacy Garden at the RHS Malvern Spring Show 2019. He will also explore the positive impact of gardens on our physical and mental well being. This subject has been widely discussed in recent months as people have found great satisfaction and benefit from being out in their gardens and in outside spaces during lock down.

Gary has won two RHS medals for his garden designs and writes articles about gardening and garden design.

Following on from Gary’s talk, we will celebrate our virtual summer show by sharing the photographic entries and revealing the winners.

If you haven’t already used Zoom as a means of staying in touch with family, friends or work colleagues over the lockdown period, it is easy to download for free onto a lap-top, computer, iPad or smartphone. Click on the link below from 7.20pm onwards.
