Our next meeting is on Monday 6th March. Doors open from 7pm for a 7.30 start. If you haven’t renewed your subscription for this year, you will be able to do so. Light refreshments and plant raffle as usual.
Our plant stall, which raises funds for the Percy Picton Memorial Fund will be starting up this month too! We are looking for donations of good quality, interesting plants so please bring them along with you. It would be very helpful if they are labelled with a name and price and is important that any unsold plants are taken home at the end of the meeting. Please bring some money to spend on the plant stall and a bag. We need to keep the floor of the village hall free of compost!
There were quite a few requests for a list of the gardens mentioned in last month’s talk by Mandy Bradshaw. You will find these at the bottom of this post.
Jane Moore has been the head gardener at The Bath Priory since 2003, she has also been the group head gardener for several of Andrew Brownsword’s prestigious hotels. During her gardening career of more than 30 years she has authored many articles, worked as researcher and TV presenter for Gardeners world alongside her design and gardening work.
Even if we haven’t got a vegetable patch in our gardens, let’s hope we may be inspired to incorporate some into our borders! We look forward to seeing you next Monday,
