Monday’s talk will be given by Steve Monks who is a specialist grower of rare and unusual Pelargoniums; his nursery ‘Growing Crazy’ in Evesham grows over 500 varieties.
Steven has had a lifelong fascination for pelargoniums. In his teens he worked at the National Pelargonium Collection, and now his specialist nursery is dedicated to preserving pelargoniums, especially the heritage, rare and unusual varieties which tell a story.
For anyone who hasn’t yet got hold of the schedule and entry form for the 2026 Summer Show, these will be available at the talk or can be downloaded from the website.
The talk will start at 7.30pm in Colwall Village Hall. However, do come along from 7pm to enjoy a hot drink and a chat as well as the plant stall and raffle.
We would be very grateful for any donated plants, cuttings, divisions and seedlings for the plant stall. And please bring along a bag for any plants you buy from the stall as we need to keep the floor of the village hall clean and free of compost.
