Our speaker is Jim Jermyn and he will be talking to us about this wonderful garden in Scotland where he works.
‘Branklyn Garden – A Legacy to Mr & Mrs Renton’
Jim has been head gardener at Branklyn just outside Perth for 5 years which was created by the Rentons in the early 20th century.
They built an Arts & Craft inspired house and were keen to have a garden that featured rare and unusual plants and flowers from all over the world. Using seed collected by renowned plants hunters and with Dorothy’s great gardening skills, this garden is admired for its outstanding collection of plants. It holds the National Collection of Meconopsis and Cassiope.
