Lou Nichols is Head Gardener at Ulting Wick Garden, one of Essex’s garden gems. This is a private garden that opens for the National Garden Scheme. Ulting Wick has twice been voted into the top three gardens in the South-East by Garden News and boasts two highly ornate planting schemes throughout the year.
Lou has worked in horticulture for over 20 years, exhibiting and winning medals at Chelsea, Hampton Court, Malvern, Gardener’s World and Three Counties. She trained at Garden Organic and has had the pleasure of working at Sissinghurst and Hole Park.
The lovely thing about this talk is that Lou is on the Perennial Speaker Panel and her speaker fee is going to the Perennial gardening charity.
