We have a great talk lined up for our meeting on Monday 7th February.
Wim Boens, a writer and lecturer about plants will show us how to bring some real colour in to the winter garden as he discusses ideal partners for snowdrops. His special interest is winter aconites which he sees as one of the nicest and most prominent harbingers of spring.
Wim has been interested in plants and gardens since he was a little boy. I’m sure his interest and enthusiasm will ensure we are in for a very enjoyable and informative evening. Please do come along to support Wim as he is travelling from Belgium to deliver his talk!
Come in time for a 7.30pm start. Whilst we won’t be serving tea and coffee, we will be holding a plant raffle and renewing memberships for the year. Please come with a few pound coins for the raffle. All being well, you will be able to pay your subs by cash, cheque or contactless payment!
Visitors are most welcome to join us.
If you want to see a fabulous example of snowdrops and winter colour in a garden, visit The Picton Gardens and Old Court Nurseries which are open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from February 3rd. Check the NGS website for their NGS openings.
